Griffiths: The Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip cannot be allowed to continue

New York, (ST) – The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths affirmed that the Israeli massacres cannot be allowed to continue in Gaza Strip. He proposed a ten-point plan to stop these massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces.

Sputnik quoted Griffiths as saying: While the massacres in Gaza reach new levels of horror every day, the world is still watching in shock as hospitals are bombed, premature babies die, and entire neighborhoods are deprived of basic means of survival, and this must not be allowed to continue.

He added: The plan includes facilitating the flow of humanitarian aid convoys, opening crossing points other than Rafah, allowing the delivery of fuel, not interfering in the distribution of humanitarian aid, increasing the number of shelters for displaced persons and establishing a shelter protection system.

“The plan also includes, organizing public aid distribution centers, allowing the movement of civilians to safe areas, providing $1.2 billion to the United Nations and ensuring a ceasefire”, Griffiths added.
