First fuel truck enters Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing

Rafah, (ST)- On Wednesday , the first fuel truck entered the besieged Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing from the Egyptian side. The truck has been the first  to enter Gaza since the beginning of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Strip 40 days ago.

The Egyptian Cairo News Channel reported that the first fuel truck on Wednesday entered through the Rafah crossing into the besieged Gaza Strip carrying 24,000 liters of diesel. It said that the truck belongs to the United Nations.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their crimes against civilians in Gaza Strip and destroy infrastructure, especially hospitals, by intensifying air strikes, as a large number of them were out of service as a result of brutal bombing, fuel depletion, and electricity outages.

The number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip rose to 11,320 martyrs, including 4,650 children, in addition to more than 29,000 wounded amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions resulting from the war of starvation and thirst and the occupation’s prevention of the entry of fuel and medical supplies.
