Six people injured by explosion of device left behind by ISIS in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, (ST) – 6 municipality workers in Deir Ezzor City Council were injured as a result of the explosion of a device left by ISIS terrorists.

The Director of the General Authority of Al-Assad Hospital, Dr. Mamoun Haiza, told SANA’s correspondent that the hospital received 6 people who suffered injuries ranging from light to moderate, as a result of being hit by shrapnel in various parts of the body. The necessary first aid was provided to them.

Terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices in areas where they were deployed, between homes, on roads, and on agricultural lands before they were defeated. They did this matter to cause the greatest possible damage to civilians, who had returned to their areas liberated from terrorism, or to intimidate them and prevent them from returning.
