American human rights organization files lawsuit against Biden for his complicity in genocide in Gaza

The American law defense organization (Center for Constitutional Rights) filed a lawsuit in a federal court against the administration of the American president Joe Biden on the  charge of the complicity in the genocide of the residents of Gaza Strip.

The organization said in a statement published yesterday on its website:” the Israeli government is committing genocide against the Palestinian people of Gaza Strip with unconditional support from the United States, and is deliberately depriving the residents of Gaza from the basics of life such as food, water, medicine, and electricity”.

The statement pointed out that” since 7 October , the Israeli government has killed more than 11,100 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including more than 4,600 children, and more than 28,000 were injured, and there is documented evidence of the use of internationally prohibited white phosphorus”.

The statement confirmed that the United States is not fulfilling its legal obligations to prevent genocide, that president Biden and other senior officials are aiding and abetting the genocide of the Palestinian people by the government of “Israel”, noting that Biden, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Anthony Blinken, and Minister of Defense Lloyd Austin not only failed to use their influence to prevent genocide, but also repeatedly and publicly expressed their unconditional support for the actions of the “Israel” government.

The statement noted that the organization filed the lawsuit on the behalf of the Palestinian human rights organizations, Palestinians in Gaza, and the United States against Biden and senior officials in his administration.
