The Euro -Mediterranean Observatory: (Israel) turned the displacement corridor in Gaza Strip into a trap to kill and detain the Palestinians

The Euro -Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces transformed the corridor of displacement from the north of Gaza Strip to its south into a trap for killing and detainng the Palestinians.

The Observatory said in a statement today that “Israel” has not been satisfied with the forced displacement of the Palestinians from Gaza Strip and the lack of safe shelter for them, it also intentionally target them during their displacement in a clear breach of international laws and norms.

The Observatory pointed out that the Israeli occupation’s statements about a safe displacement corridor for the Palestinians are part of its military tactics that it uses to kill them.

The Observatory added that the occupation has asked more than a million Palestinians to leave Gaza city and its north less than a week after it launched a devastating and unprecedented war on Gaza Strip.

The observatory indicated that since the occupation issued a decision to displace the Palestinians, the observatory has warned that this decision violates international humanitarian law, and it may amount to a war crime.
