The World Health Organization WHO announced the loss of contact with  the “Al-Shifaa” Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the Israeli bombing of the internal courtyards of the medical complex.

The World Health Organization said in a statement reported  by Reuters on Sunday  “It has lost communications with  Al-Shifa complex in the northern Gaza Strip, and that it has deep concerns about the safety of medical workers and hundreds of sick and injured people, including infants”

In turn, Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said: “Operations at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, which is the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, stopped  on Saturday  after fuel ran out.”

The Israeli occupation has continued its barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, amid a severe siege on the residents of the Strip that prevented the entry of food and medical supplies , with continuous targeting and bombing of hospitals and schools.
