President Al-Assad holds talks with his Iranian and Mauritanian counterparts on the situation in Gaza Strip in the light of the Israeli aggression

President Bashar Al-Assad on Saturday held talks with President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran on the catastrophic situation of the people in Gaza Strip due to the Israeli aggression on the strip which has been continuous for the 36th day.

The talks were held during separate meetings on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, which was held on Saturday in the Saudi Capital, Riyadh.

The two Presidents affirmed the need to speed up providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and to pressure the Israeli entity to stop its massacres against innocent Palestinians.

President Al-Assad also met with the Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani. The talks focused on developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and on ways to provide assistance to the people in Gaza Strip.

President Al-Assad reiterated the need to work as to provide protection to the Palestinian people and to stop the Israeli criminality against the Palestinians.
