Colombia Supports Algeria’s Lawsuit against Israel

Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced his country’s support for Algeria’s lawsuit at the International Criminal Court against “Israel”, which accuses it of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

President Petro wrote via the social media platform “X”  yesterday that the Republic of Colombia will contribute to meeting the call of the Algerian Republic to file a lawsuit at the International Criminal Court against Benjamin Netanyahu for his massacres against children, civilians and the Palestinian people as a whole and for committing war crimes against them.

The Colombian President noted that his foreign minister Alvaro Leyva will meet today with the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan to talk about the matter.

It is worth mentioning that Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune called last Monday to file a lawsuit against the Zionist entity at the International Criminal Court and international human rights organizations for its crimes and violations against the Palestinians.
