Palestinian Health Minister warns of the collapse of the entire health system in Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila warned of the collapse of the entire health system in Gaza Strip, following the Israeli occupation warplanes’ targeting of solar panels that were supplying hospitals in the Strip with a little amount of electricity, in addition to the insufficient medical supplies entering the Strip in the face of the enormous needs of hospitals and health care centers.

Al-Kaila said in statements today, reported by Wafa News Agency, that the medical personnel in the Gaza Strip have been at work since the beginning of the aggression 33 days ago, and have been completely exhausted due to the number of casualties, which amounted to more than 25 thousand wounded, while the number of martyrs and wounded among the medical and ambulance personnel exceeded hundreds.

Al-Kaila confirmed that the occupation refuses to allow a number of doctors who work for the International Red Cross and others in various sectors to enter the Strip to support doctors in Gaza hospitals. She called on the international community and UN organizations to intervene urgently to bring relief and medical aid and open humanitarian corridors to the Strip.
