With the participation of the Syria Trust for Development, the implementation of a project that secures water for the Sahari area in Suwayda
Suwayda (ST) – With the participation of the Syria Trust Development, the Norwegian Refugee Council implemented a project to install solar energy panels to operate a water pumping station in the Al-Sahari area in Shahba in the Al-Suwayda countryside.
According to a statement by the Syria Trust Development, the project includes the installation of about 100 solar panels, and also contributes to solving the problem of water shortage and ensuring its access to about 7,000 people.
It indicated that the project was implemented based on the needs and requirements of the local community, and it is one of the outcomes of the development plan prepared by the Syria Trust Development in Shahba, Suwayda Governorate.
