Prime Minister of Malaysia likens Israeli aggression on Gaza to the bombing of Hiroshima

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim denounced the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip, likening the destruction in the Strip as a result of this aggression to the destruction caused by the American bombing of the city of Hiroshima with an atomic bomb.

Ibrahim said during a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida after a meeting in Kuala Lumpur today, as reported by TASS: “The damage from bombs in Gaza exceeded the damage from Hiroshima during World War II,” noting his Japanese counterpart’s commitment to supporting peace in the region and providing humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the deliberate massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of more than 400 people.
