Demonstrations in several European and American cities demanding an end to Israeli aggression on Gaza
Many European capitals and cities witnessed massive demonstrations demanding an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the entry of food and medical aid to its people.
The French capital, Paris, witnessed a massive demonstration called by a number of organizations, associations and parties in support of Palestine and demanding an end to the Israeli aggression against it.
Thousands of people also demonstrated in the German capital, Berlin, in Alexander platz Square in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators raised banners reading “Save Gaza” and “Stop genocide and shooting.”
A large number of protesters put on the Palestinian keffiyeh, raised Palestinian flags, and chanted, “Liberate Palestine.”
In Washington, DC, thousands of Americans demonstrated to denounce the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators raised the Palestinian flag and banners bearing slogans including “Freedom for Palestine,” “Stop genocide,” and “Stop the war on Gaza.”
Thousands of Danes also organized a demonstration in the Town Hall Square in the center of the capital, Copenhagen, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and raised banners reading, “Stop the siege on Gaza,” and chanted slogans supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people and affirming their national rights to build their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return of refugees, as approved by international resolutions.
The participants called on the international community to halt the genocide that the Israeli occupation continues to commit in the Gaza Strip without any deterrent.
London, Rome, and Oslo also witnessed massive demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people, and denouncing the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and the international community, especially Western, silence over the massacres being committed there.
