The Syrian theatrical show “Naqiq” wins three awards at the Al-Din Festival in Oman

The Syrian theatrical show “Naqiq” (Nagging) won three awards in the official competition at the Al-Din Festival in the Sultanate of Oman in its fourth edition under the slogan “Welcome, World! to the Sultanate of Oman.”

The Directorate of Theaters and Music at the  Syrian Ministry of Culture participated in the official competition of the festival.
The show won the award for the best theatrical script by the writer Rawaa Sonbol, and the award for the best actress (second role) by the artist Nada Abdullah, while Walid Al-Debs won the award for the best actor (first role).

 

The theatrical performance “Naqiq: Nagging” won first place in the Arab Theater competition in 2020.

“Naqiq was shown on the stage of the Al-Hamra Theater in Damascus last year. It was directed by Ajaj Salim, and it stars Reem Zeino, Nada Abdullah, Walid Al-Debs, Alice Rashid, and Enas Rashid, who gathered to tell the story of a woman who loses her only child, and of her husband who in turn immigrates in search of work, so her suffering paralysis becomes a turning point in her life.
