With the participation of 60 companies specialized in business and investment services, the activities of the 8th session of the Forum for Businessmen and Businesswomen and Service Companies (Servex 2023) were launched yesterday’s evening at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, under the title “We Meet to Rise.”
In his speech during the opening, the Chairman of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Muhammad Abu Al-Huda Al-Laham, pointed to the importance of the forum due to the high technology it contains in marketing and management sciences, implementation expertise in all sectors, and services for adopting and developing ideas and transforming them into a product that will be introduced to the market.
The director of the “Numo” (Developing) technology incubator, which was launched by the Syrian Trust for Development and the University of Damascus, Dr. Ghaith Warqouzq, noted the importance of their participation in the forum to find investors for emerging companies with pioneering graduation projects within the incubator.
Engineer Hassan Al-Atrash from the Technology Space Company stated that the forum constitutes an opportunity to show more than 190 services and training courses they provide in the developmental and professional fields.
General Manager of the Mashhadani International Exhibitions and Conferences Group, which organizes the forum, Khalaf Mashhadani, pointed out that the forum aims to exchange experiences and knowledge and establish successful business partnerships, where entrepreneurs and leaders working in the service fields meet.
The forum will be accompanied by introductory lectures on the services provided by the participants, a discussion of some of the problems and solutions for the business sector in Syria, and special seminars via live television broadcast that will be presented by experts and specialists in various service fields.
The three-day forum opens its doors to visitors daily from 3 p.m. until 8p.m.
