Bolivia severs diplomatic relations with Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian people

Bolivia announced the severing of all its diplomatic ties with the Israeli occupation entity, in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the light of the massacres they are being subjected to by Israeli occupation forces in the besieged Gaza Strip.

During his meeting on Tuesday with the Ambassador of Palestine to Bolivia at the Presidential Palace in the capital , Bolivian President Luis Arce condemned the war crimes committed by the occupation forces in Gaza, stressing his country’s support for international initiatives to secure the entry of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza Strip in line with international law.

President Arsi stressed that it is not possible to remain silent and continue to allow the suffering of the Palestinian people, especially children and women, who have the right to live safely and peacefully .

Bolivia had previously severed its diplomatic relations with the Israeli entity in 2009 in condemnation of its aggression against Gaza Strip.

In turn, the Palestinian ambassador pointed out that the occupation continues to commit heinous massacres, ethnic cleansing operations in Gaza and the West Bank, the scorched earth policy, and the comprehensive destruction of buildings, hospitals, schools, and places of worship, which left  thousands of martyrs and wounded.

He stressed the Palestinians’ adherence to their land and to defending them until they achieve liberation and establish their Independent state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
