Committee to Protect Journalists: 31 journalists were killed in the Israeli bombing of Gaza

The Committee to Protect Journalists, a non-governmental organization based in New York, announced that the number of journalists and media professionals who were martyred since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip on the 7th of this month reached 31 journalists.

Novosti News Agency quoted the committee as saying in a statement published on its website: “The number of journalists killed in Gaza Strip during the current period represents the largest number of journalists killed while covering conflicts,” since it began counting journalism victims in 1992.

It is noteworthy that the previous death toll among journalists who were killed during the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which was published by the Committee to Protect Journalists a week ago, was 27.
