Iran demands the opening of an international investigation into the Zionist entity’s massacres against the Palestinian people

Iran renewed its demand to open an international investigation into the massacres committed by the Israeli entity against the Palestinians, and to hand over the criminals to international courts, stressing that the Zionist entity crossed all red lines and international laws in its aggression against Gaza.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in his weekly press conference today, according to IRNA: “24 days have passed since the beginning of the brutal attacks by the Zionist entity on the Gaza Strip, and in these attacks, this entity has crossed all red lines and international laws and regulations.”

Regarding the legal follow-up of Israeli crimes, Kanaani said: “The issue of the Zionist entity’s crime against the Palestinian people is not the issue of yesterday and today, but rather the issue of the suffering of the Palestinian people for seventy-five years , which continues to this day,” noting that for years Iran has been calling on the international community to form a committee regarding war crimes committed by the Zionist entity.

Kanaani pointed out that Iran’s latest proposal at the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was to form a specialized committee consisting of international lawyers and experts within the framework of this organization, document the war crimes committed by the entity in recent years, and present them to international forums, including the International Court of Justice , stressing that this demand is not only from the Islamic Republic of Iran, but from many governments and countries that demand legal follow-up of the crimes of the Zionist entity in international forums.
