The occupation has arrested more than 1,590 Palestinians in the West Bank since the 7th of this month

The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Prisoners’ Club confirmed that the fascist Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 1,590 Palestinians in the West Bank since the occupation began its aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7.

Wafa Agency quoted the Commission and the club as saying in a joint statement today: “The occupation forces arrested at least 35 Palestinians last night and at dawn today in the West Bank, bringing the number of detainees since the start of the aggression against the Gaza Strip to more than 1,590.”

They pointed out that the arrests were concentrated in the cities of Nablus, Jenin, and Jerusalem, while the rest of the arrests were distributed in the cities of Hebron, Qalqilya, Tubas, Salfit, and Tulkarm, and were accompanied by systematic abuse operations against the detainees and their families, in addition to the constant threats, the policy of collective punishment, and the sabotage operations that affected Palestinian homes.
