Demonstrations in New York and Swiss cities in support of Palestinian people

New York City and several Swiss cities witnessed on Saturday solidarity vigils in support of the Palestinian people in the face of the ongoing fascist Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

Agence France-Press noted that in New York, thousands of people went out in the Brooklyn area  in a massive demonstration, expressing their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza Strip who are subjected to intense and continuous bombing of their homes and neighborhoods.

The participants in the demonstration, who started from the Brooklyn Museum, arrived at the famous Brooklyn Bridge, which connects the area to Manhattan Island, and which the American police closed to traffic due to overcrowding.

In Switzerland, about seven thousand people demonstrated in the city of Zurich, in support of the Palestinians and to demand an immediate ceasefire. About two thousand people demonstrated in the city of Lausanne, 1,800 in Geneva, and more than a thousand in Bern, demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
