Occupied Al-Quds,( ST)- Hundreds of Palestinians on Wednesday participated in a protest in the city of Tubas in the occupied West Bank denouncing the massacres of the Israeli occupation in the besieged Gaza Strip and its crimes against prisoners in detention centers.
Wafa Agency reported that participants in the stand that called for by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian National Forces, raised pictures of a number of martyrs of the occupation massacres, pictures of prisoners, and banners denouncing the crimes of the occupation and calling on the international community to take immediate action to stop them.
The acting governor of Tubas Governorate, Ahmad Asaad said: During the past two days, the occupation forces killed the two prisoners, Omar Hamza and Arafat Hamdan in a new policy of the occupation authorities to assassinate prisoners.
Asaad holds the international community and human rights institutions the responsibility for the crimes that happened against the prisoners and the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and the war that the occupation is waging against the besieged Gaza Strip.
He called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to stop the occupation’s massacres and crimes.
In his turn, the Secretary of the Fatah movement in Tubas, Mahmoud Sawafta, pointed out that the crimes of the occupation affect all Palestinians, large and small, in the occupied West Bank, Gaza Strip and the territories occupied in 1948, and those detained in its detention centers.
Sawafta stressed that no matter how arrogant the occupation is and no matter how much its forces, planes and tanks try to kill the Palestinians it will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people, who will continue the struggle until liberation and defeat of the occupation.
