Syria, Russia discuss developments in the Israeli aggression against Gaza and the situation in Syria

Moscow, (ST) – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Russia Bashar Al-Jaafari developments regarding the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and the situation in Syria.

Novosti news agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today: During the talks between Bogdanov and Al-Jaafari, views were exchanged on developments in the Middle East, with focus on the situation in and around Syria, especially in the light of the continued escalation of confrontations in Gaza Strip.

The statement added: The two sides discussed issues of common concern to Russian-Syrian relations, including upcoming contacts.
