Saudi and Jordanian foreign ministers demand the  delivery of  humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza Strip.

The Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah called for opening safe crossings  for the entry of relief, medical and food aid to civilians in Gaza Strip in compliance with international norms and laws, and humanitarian principles.

“The international community must work to achieve ceasefire and find a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue that will stop the repeated aggression in  the region  and establishes a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace for the Palestinian people”, The Saudi News Agency “SPA” quoted the Saudi minister as saying during his meeting on Tuesday  with Dutch Foreign Minister Hanke Brons-Sloat, on the sidelines of a UN Security Council session on the situation in the Middle East and the Palestinian issue.

In turn,  Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign  and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, called for the immediate delivery of aid to the besieged people of Gaza Strip.

Al-Safadi said on Tuesday in press statements on the sidelines of the open session of the Security Council  on the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issue, as reported by Petra Agency: “The Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip must be stopped”.

He warned  of the consequences of continuing this aggression, indicating  that the only solution in the Middle East is giving the Palestinian people their rights and establishing their independent state.
