Rally in Yarmouk Camp in Damascus in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza

The Palestinian National resistance on Saturday held a solidarity stand in Yarmouk Camp in Damascus, to express support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, to voice solidarity with the people in the besieged Gaza Strip and to condemn the crimes being committed by the Zionist occupation against them.

A number of personalities representing Syrian and Palestinian parties, civil society, as will as social and religious institutions, in addition to many people participated in the stand. They affirmed full solidarity with the people in Gaza Strip, considering that the will to resist and keep steadfastness is stronger than all pressures, and that the international silence regarding the brutal massacres committed by the Zionist occupation entity in the besieged Gaza Strip is a disgrace.

Khaled Khaled, a leader in the Islamic Jihad resistance movement in Syria, stressed in his speech the continuation of the struggle and resistance against the occupation entity, no matter sacrifices this will cost. He stressed that this is the only way to end the occupation, restore the usurped rights, and establish the State of Palestine with Al-Quds as its eternal capital, noting the role of the countries and forces of the axis of resistance in defending the Palestinian people and their cause.

He greeted the sacrifices of martyrs of Syria and Palestine.

For his part, Member of the People’s Assembly Raafat Bakkar pointed out that the bombing and killing of civilians by the Israeli occupation in Gaza is a war crime and a cowardly genocide that confirms this entity’s hatred and failure in the face of the steadfastness and struggle of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
