“Cairo Summit for Peace” discusses Israeli escalation in Gaza

The Cairo Summit for peace kicked off in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the presence of regional and international parties, with the aim of discussing developments in occupied Palestine.

According to Egyptian media outlets, more than 30 countries as well as 3 international organizations from all over the world are taking part in the summit. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will attend the summit activities.

During its latest meeting, the Egyptian National Security Council called for hosting a regional and international summit for discussing the latest developments in the region and ways to find a solution to the Palestinian cause in the light of the continuous Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people.
