Occupation turns Jerusalem and the Old Town into a military barracks

This morning, the Israeli occupation forces turned the occupied city of Jerusalem into a military barracks, preventing a number of Palestinians from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

WAFA News Agency reported that the occupation forces placed iron barricades at the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and those of the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem, tightened their military measures there, deployed soldiers in the vicinity of the city and its streets, and prevented a number of them from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Yesterday, the Palestinian resistance called on the people of Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948 to continue the general mobilization today and to seclude themselves in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to clash with the occupation and its settlers in all places and squares in fulfillment of the blood of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip, and in support for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.
