US base in Syria’s Koniko gas field attacked by missiles

Two separate missile attacks targeted the Omar oil field and the gas line connecting to the Koniko natural gas plant, which are bases established by the US army in the countryside of Deir Ezzor governorate.

Local sources told SANA’s correspondent that “the targeting of the gas pipeline used by the American occupation forces and the associated SDF militias to steal natural gas from the Koniko plant was done in the Abu Khashab desert area in the western countryside,” noting that a huge explosion hit the pipeline, causing a big bang in the area, followed by a full alert of the American occupation forces and SDF militia militants, in conjunction with intense flight of American helicopters and drones over the area .

The sources added: Another missile attack targeted the Omar oil field, where a military base for the United States occupation exists without information on the occupation forces’ losses.

Two separate drone attacks targeted the American occupation bases in the Koniko field in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and Al-Tanf on the Syrian – Jordanian border earlier today, hours after a number of its bases were subjected to similar attacks in Iraq.
