A solidarity stand in front of the UN headquarters in Damascus denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation in besieged Gaza Strip.

The Syrian Arab Popular Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project, in cooperation with the Al-Quds International Foundation – Syria and the Palestinian resistance factions, have all organized today, Thursday the 19th of October 2023 a solidarity stand in front of the United Nations headquarters in Damascus in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance so as to denounce the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the people of the besieged Gaza Strip.

In a letter addressing the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the participants in the protest stand called for lifting the siege imposed on the residents of Gaza Strip, holding the Zionist occupation entity legally and morally responsible for the bombing crimes of Gaza Strip, providing all forms of humanitarian aid to the besieged Palestinian people in the Strip, opening all crossings to deliver aid, and putting an end to the Israeli raids on the Strip in order to stop the starvation policy followed by the Zionist entity.

The participants further called for having communication with the West to stop supporting the Zionist entity and encouraging its aggression. The participants stressed the necessity of implementing United Nations resolutions related to the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state on the historical borders with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
