Director of the Bureau of Political and Military Affairs at the US State Department, Josh Paul, announced his resignation from his position in protest against the blind US support for the Israeli occupation authorities in their war on the Gaza Strip, in the first of its kind position in the corridors of American politics that is historically biased toward “Israel.”
Paul, who spent more than 11 years as director of public and congressional affairs and was responsible for arms deals, announced his resignation, in protest against the way the administration of US President Joe Biden dealt with the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, describing the White House’s response to the aggression as “ reckless and based on intellectual bankruptcy.”
Josh Paul, noted in a statement published on the “LinkedIn” platform that he cannot support more American military aid to “Israel,” and he cannot continue in a job that contributes to the death of more Palestinian civilians, wondering how many Palestinian children must die so that “Israel” can complete its aggression under the pretext of Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.
