Syrian lawmakers urge the international community, UN organizations to assume their responsibility towards what is happening in Gaza

The People’s Assembly on Wednesday held an ordinary session chaired by Speaker Hammoudah Sabbagh. The session was dedicated for condemning the savage crime committed by the Israeli occupation Tuesday night by bombing Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza where hundreds of people were martyred and wounded, most of them were women and children.

Sabbagh described the crime as the most heinous massacre committed by the Israeli occupation since the beginning of its ongoing aggression on Gaza Strip.

“It is not strange to witness such a cowardly criminal act by a cancerous entity, which, since Balfour Declaration, has committed many massacres and crimes with direct support by the United states and western countries which claims protecting human rights and under the sight of the international community which has done nothing to stop the dangerous violations against defenseless people,” Sabbagh said.

He reiterated that Syria has always considered Palestine as its compass and central cause.

A number of MPs said that the Gaza hospital massacre is a war crimes and cowardly genocide that proves the failure of the Zionist entity in front of the legitimate resistance and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
