A political forum in Damascus to discuss impacts of Al-Aqsa Flood Operation

Damascus, (ST) – The Syrian Arab Popular Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project, in cooperation with the Al-Quds International Foundation- Syria and the Palestinian resistance factions held a political forum on “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and its impacts on the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Zionist conflict,” at the committee’s headquarters in Damascus.

Participants in the forum said that what the Palestinian resistance achieved in the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the Zionist occupation entity is a historic victory and an honorable achievement that demonstrated the cowardice and fragility of this entity and that will have important results for the Palestinian cause.

They called for supporting the Palestinian people and standing by them because the Al-Aqsa Flood is the nation’s battle in defending the land, the holy sites and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

The participants in the forum called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene immediately to stop the crimes of the occupation, genocide and the scorched earth policy committed by the occupying entity, which targets civilian neighborhoods, places of worship, hospitals, humanitarian service centers and markets in Gaza Strip, especially after the horrific massacre of the Zionist occupation against hundreds of innocent people in Al-Mamadani Hospital.

The participants stressed the necessity of national unity and rallying around the resistance because it is the only way to confront the Zionist aggression, hold the occupation accountable for its ongoing crimes, liberate the land, and restore rights. They expressed their pride in the victories achieved in the area of confrontation, and their standing by the resisting Palestinian people.
