Integration between Government, SARC and Civil Society in Providing Relief Aid to Citizens Stressed

DAMASCUS- (ST)- Prime Minster Wael al-Halqi stressed integration between the government, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the Syrian civil society in providing humanitarian, relief and medical aid to all citizens in different Syrian areas affected by the armed terrorist groups crimes.

Meeting members of SARC Homs branch, al-Halqi affirmed the need to meet citizens’ needs to ease their suffering and help them withstand the repercussions of the ongoing crisis in the country.

He hailed SARC great efforts to provide medical and relief aid to the Syrian citizens displaced by the armed groups and highly appreciated the sacrifices of the organization’s staff while doing their humanitarian mission.

Al-Halqi reiterated the need to start the reconstruction process in the country which must be in parallel with the process of distributing relief and medical aid as well as psychological support to those who need.

The Homs branch SARC members, for their part, appreciated the government’s support for their humanitarian activities.
