Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian warned that if Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people do not stop and the world does not witness an immediate cessation of them, other fronts will open.
IRNA quoted Abdullahian as saying in a television interview about developments in the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories: The Zionists have chosen the worst way to deal, which is the genocide of children and women, and if these crimes do not stop and the world does not witness an immediate halt to them, other fronts will open.
In response to a question about whether Iran would enter the war, Abdullahian said: All possibilities are available, and I stress that no party can remain indifferent to the continuation of this situation.
Regarding his conversation with some foreign ministers of Islamic countries, Abdullahian said: We are close to the conclusion that if the both limited and intense opportunities available to the United Nations are not exploited, the possibility of opening new fronts against the Zionist entity is inevitable.
Abdullahian pointed out that during his tour in the region where he met with resistance leaders, the only thing in their mind was that if political solutions led to a result, they would look at this opportunity and do so, but if the war crimes committed by the Israeli entity against civilians continued, no action would likely be taken.
