2750 martyrs and more than 9700 injuries as a result of the ongoing occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip for the 10th day has risen to 2750 martyrs and more than 9700 injured, in addition to massive destruction in residential neighborhoods and infrastructure.

Palestinian media reported that, during the past hours, the occupation aircrafts bombed two civil defense headquarters, one in the middle of the Strip and the other in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in its southwest, leading to the death of 7 of its crews and the injury of others. It also launched intensive raids on Palestinian homes in Khan Yunis and the Zaytoun neighborhood in the south of the Strip and Al-Shuja’iya in the east, which led to the death of 17 Palestinians and the injury of others, bringing the number of martyrs to 2,750 and the injured to more than 9,700.

The occupation aircrafts launched several raids on the vicinity of Al-Quds hospital and the Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Sources in the Strip affirmed that the occupation’ bombing of the Civil Defense headquarter and the death of a number of its crew is a new war crime added to the occupation’s crimes that require accountability, prosecution and punishment.

The sources indicated that instead of responding to the relief call that the Civil Defense issued hours ago requesting the necessary tools and rescue equipment to recover hundreds of martyrs and transport the wounded, the occupation directly bombed the headquarter is a message of challenge to the world and disregard for all conventions that guarantee the protection of rescue crews.

The sources stressed that this crime requires a practical international response and an immediate intervention from international organizations, most notably the International Committee for Civil Protection to protect the civil defense crews and provide them with the required equipment to rescue the wounded and recover the martyrs.
