People’s Assembly: Targeting the Military Academy in Homs is an evidence of the hatred of terrorist organizations

Damascus (ST) – The People’s Assembly on Sunday held its 11th session of its third legislative term, headed by Hammouda Sabbagh, Chairman of the Council.

In his speech, Sabbagh affirmed that the heinous crime committed by the terrorist organizations on the 5th of this month, by targeting the graduation ceremony of a new batch of officer cadets at the Military Academy in Homs, is a conclusive evidence of the hatred of these criminal organizations against the steadfast Syrians.

He pointed to the great external support that the terrorist organizations receive from the West, the US, and the Zionist entity.

Sabbagh paid tribute to the heroes of the Palestinian resistance, which during the past days launched a heroic battle, in response to the continuous and repeated brutal and barbaric attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinians.

He stressed that the Zionist entity is pursuing systematic terrorism against the Palestinians by practicing the scorched-earth policy in a blatant and flagrant violation of all humanitarian standards approved by the principles of the UN, Human Rights documents and international humanitarian law.

The Assembly’s members affirmed that this terrorist attack on the Military Academy would not have occurred without the American-Western Zionist financial support and supplies of weapons, equipment and modern technology for the terrorist organizations.

They stressed that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation has proved that resistance is the only way for the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights, calling on the international community to put an end to the crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinians, their sanctities and their property.
