Palestinian Civil Defense: More than 1,000 missing under the rubble as a result of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

Occupied AlQuds- (ST): The Palestinian Civil Defense announced that more than 1,000 people are missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on various parts of Gaza Strip.

The Civil Defense said in a statement: “We have responded to thousands of distress calls from residents since the start of the Israeli aggression, which targeted residential buildings that numbered 2,185, but the respose needs many tasks that exceed our capabilities,” warning that the continued aggression against Gaza Strip portends a real disaster, and contributes to increasing the number of casualties dramatically.

The Civil Defense called on the international community to implement international humanitarian law and provide rescue crews with their equipment, similar to what happens during disasters around the world, while the civil defense crews continue to work to recover the bodies of the martyrs and the injured from under the rubble of destroyed homes.
