Lebanese Foreign Ministry condemns repeated Israeli attacks on Damascus and Aleppo airports

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Damascus and Aleppo International Airports, which led to damaging civilian facilities, endangering civil aviation traffic and civilian lives.

“These Israeli attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international laws and norms and the UN Charter,” the ministry said in a statement today, warning of “continued escalation by (Israel) in conjunction with the crimes it commits in Gaza, which may lead to a threat to regional and international peace and security.
