The Ministry of Transport has announced the transfer of all flights, scheduled via Damascus and Aleppo airports “arrival and departure”, to Lattakia International Airport.

The Ministry pointed out that the Civil Aviation staff, in cooperation with the relevant national authorities, began detecting the damage to the runways of the two airports and removing traces of the aggression, in preparation for repairing the runways and putting them back to service. The Ministry called on travelers to arrange their travel, transportation, and flight times with the airline companies and their relevant offices, and to communicate with airport administrations for any inquiries.

The Israeli enemy carried out today an air attack with bursts of missiles, targeting the international airports of Aleppo and Damascus, which damaged the runways and put the two airports out of service.
