Solidarity stances by Syrian students at universities and institutes in support of the Palestinian resistance and the Al-Aqsa flood operation

Syrian students in the universities and institutes all over the governorates carried out solidarity stances in support of the Palestinian resistance and the operation of “Al-Aqsa Flood” in the face of the brutal attacks of the Israeli occupation, and also in support of the right of the Palestinian people to their land, their struggle, and their steadfastness in the face of the Zionist aggression.

At the University of Damascus, Syrian students participating in the solidarity stand at the Faculty of Civil Engineering affirmed their support for the Palestinian cause, as it is the central cause for the people of the Arab nation until the liberation of the land and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with AlQuds (Jerusalem) as its capital, pointing out that what is being made of today’s heroics in Palestine is a hope for victory for all the peoples who believe in martyrdom and liberation.

The participants stressed the necessity of struggle and resistance because the Zionist enemy only understands the language of force as a means to liberate all the occupied Arab lands of the Syrian Golan and Palestine.

For his part, Awad Abu Daqqa, a graduate student at the Faculty of Information at Damascus University, who is from Gaza, called on the international community, with its bodies and organizations, to bear its responsibilities towards the crimes of the occupation, including the brutal killing of civilians and children in Palestine, cutting off water supplies, and tightening the siege on Gaza. Abu Daqqa pointed out that 25 members of his own family have been martyred in Gaza during the past few days.

Abu Daqqa pointed out that the countries that condone the crimes of the occupation and support them under American, French and British cover are the same countries that attacked the Arab countries under multiple claims so as to distort the image of the Islamic religion.

At the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences at Al-Baath University in Homs, participants in the solidarity stand raised the flags of Syria and Palestine and banners rejecting the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestine people.

Dr. Fadi Murshid, Secretary of the University, pointed out that today’s stand is the least that can be offered to these heroes in Palestine who embodied the epics of heroism and honor. For his part, Ali Hammadi, head of the Student Union branch at Al-Baath University, pointed out that the Al-Aqsa flood shook the Zionist entity, which proved to be weaker than a spider’s web.

A number of Syrian and Arab students at Al-Baath University also expressed their pride in the courage, valor and victories carried out by the Palestinian resistance. Dr. Fayeq Shadoud, Secretary of the University Branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party participated in the solidarity stand side by side with deans of colleges, vice chairman of the university and a crowd of workers and students.

In Hama, participants in the solidarity stand carried out by students of the University of Hama and the National Private and Arab University for Science and Technology in the college complex chanted slogans affirming their absolute solidarity with the people of Gaza who are steadfast in the face of the Israeli war and terror machine.

 

The head of the Syrian Students Union branch in Hama Farid Maghmouma, indicated that the students expressed their condemnation of the brutal Israeli bombing targeting Palestinian citizens in their homes in the Gaza Strip, affirming their confidence that the Palestinian people will emerge victorious over the Zionist enemy.

The head of the Private Arab University branch of the Students Union, Saif Al-Din Al-As’aad, pointed out that everyone stands together in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the Al-Aqsa flood while the head of the Students Union branch at the National Private University, Abdul Karim Al-Naasan, explained that university students in Syria will keep the pledge to stand by the Palestinian brothers and their just cause.

In Tartous, hundreds of students participated in the solidarity stand, affirming their support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, and calling for supporting resistance in Palestine until the last inch of the occupied land is liberated.
Students Union chairman Mustafa Al-Khateeb stressed that Syrian students stand with the Palestinian people’s right to defend themselves. He also stressed that the Syrian students deeply support the heroic operations carried out by the resistance.
In Lattakia, the students of Tishreen University expressed their pride in the victories achieved by the Palestinian resistance during the past few days against the brutal Israeli occupier. The students raised flags and banners that confirm that Syrian students always and forever stand with Palestine.

 

University rector Dr. Bassam Hassan explained that the university students confirmed their support and stand by the Palestinian people who are being bombed and besieged by the Israeli occupation, which violates all international laws.

Secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party branch at the university, Dr. Mirna Dalla, confirmed that the Palestinian issue will never fade out because it is a faith in the conscience, and the resistance has written a new page of history, and that the epic flood sweeping the usurping Israeli entity has imposed on the world a new reality that does not know submission and surrender to the enemies of humanity.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Munther As’aad, called on the Arab peoples to stand by the Palestinian people so as to restore their usurped rights, just as the Syrian people stand today in pride and reverence with Palestine and the resistance people until the land is liberated.

In Hasakah, students of the colleges of Al-Furat University expressed, during the solidarity stand in front of the Faculty of Law, their solidarity and full support for the Palestinian people until victory is achieved.

In Deir ez-Zor, students of Al-Furat University raised the Palestinian flag alongside the Syrian flag during the solidarity stand at the Faculty of Arts, and chanted phrases confirming that the people of Syria stand alongside their brothers in Palestine.

In Aleppo, university students and professors chanted slogans confirming their support and standing by the Palestinian people in confronting the brutal and criminal acts committed by the Zionist entity.

Dr. Ibrahim Hadid, Secretary of the University of Aleppo branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party addressed the students and stressed the inevitability of the victory of the Palestinian resistance in confronting the criminal Zionist war, adding that Al-Aqsa flood operation is a prelude to the liberation of every occupied inch of the Arab land.

The head of the Aleppo University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, Yasser Jawish, stated that the students and professors of the University of Aleppo, in their solidarity stance, confirm their support for the axis of resistance, and their standing alongside the heroes of the Palestinian people and their resistance.

A number of participating students expressed their pride in the Palestinian resistance operations against the barbarism of the Israeli occupation and its brutal crimes against civilians, pointing out that victory will be for the resistance, and that the heroic actions of the Al-Aqsa flood give honor to every Arab.
