Berri and Qalibaf discuss providing support to the Palestinian people

Lebanese Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri, discussed by telephone today with the Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, , the situation in the region, the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, and providing support to the Palestinian people.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that during the call, coordination was made to hold an emergency session for the heads of the councils of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, dedicated to discussing the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Qalibaf announced yesterday that consultations were taking place with the heads of parliaments of Islamic countries to discuss providing immediate support to the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression.
