The Palestinian Minister of Health warns of the collapse of the health situation in the Gaza Strip

Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Alkaila warned of the collapse of the health situation in the besieged Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression against it for the sixth day, calling on  international health organizations to intervene urgently to bring in supplies and open field hospitals in the Strip.

Wafa Agency quoted Al Kaila as saying in a statement today:” we warn of the collapse of the health situation in the Gaza Strip because of the acute shortage in medical supplies, supplies for operation rooms, medicines and blood bags”, noting that the large number of injures exceeds the capacity of the Strip’s hospitals.

AlKaila called on the international and healthy institution, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the world’s countries to intervene immediately and urgently to bring medicines and medical supplies, especially to operation rooms, emergency department,  and intensive care , and to help open field hospitals in the Stripe to work to save the life of injured,  especially women, children, and the elderly.
