American Writer: Israel turns the anniversary of the September Attacks to a license to kill Palestinians people

Dangerous media propaganda inspired by the September 2001 Attacks in the United States is currently being used by the Israeli occupation entity to justify the public mass crimes it is committing against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, according to the American writer Norman Solomon.

Solomon mentioned in an article on the American CounterPunch website that the occupation authorities came up with the new phrase called (the Israeli September Attacks) and used it as a justification of the atrocities they are committing and will commit against the Palestinians,  attempting to stimulate the echoes of what happened in 2001, when the  administration of the American President George Bush Junior used this as pretext to wage its long war against Afghanistan killing whoever it killed and destroying what it destroyed under this pretext.

Solomon referred to Israel’s public announcement of this new slogan through its representative at the United Nations last Sunday, who described the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and its response to it as what he called “Israel’s September attacks”, indicating that what appears to public opinion is a deliberate approach to attract the sympathy of the Americans and the West by recalling the September attacks and mobilizing the support for the occupation entity, but the reality is different, as the occupation authorities, which have for decades applied the apartheid system against the Palestinians and deprived them their most basic human rights, are preparing to commit horrific atrocities against them.

Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of the new propaganda called the “Israeli September attacks,” according to Solomon, is what happened previously after the American September attacks, where Washington played the role of the victim suffering from a sad tragedy, launching an open war in which hundreds of thousands of innocents were killed around the world under the pretext of the war on terrorism, so the September attacks, which Israel is currently playing its card, became a license to kill.

Under this new plan, which the Israeli occupation government has begun implementing with all its hatred and malice, 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are subjected to collective punishment, which represents an intensification of the crimes committed by the occupation authorities against them over many decades.

Solomon pointed out that Israeli racism has now reached a terrifying extent with a clear desire for extermination, through the indiscriminate bombing, siege, and cutting off food, water, electricity, and fuel.

Solomon described the occupation entity’s simulation of the September attacks as terrifying, bringing to mind the fact that the United States granted itself the right to commit horrific crimes against humanity under the pretext of those attacks, and killed thousands of people in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria and others.

Returning to the crimes of the Israeli occupation, Solomon pointed out that “Israel” has a long record of killing civilians in the Gaza Strip, and covering this up with favoritism and conspiracy by the American and Western media.
