Tehran,(ST)- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned the practices of the Zionist entity against the Palestinians, including tightening the siege on Gaza Strip. He stressed that they are war crimes targeting humanity.
Abdullahian said during a phone call on Wednesday with Mirjana Spolijaric Egger, President of the International committee of the Red Cross: We are currently witnessing the continuation of war crimes in Gaza, as Israel targets residential areas, hospitals, and schools, cuts off water and electricity, and prevents the sending of fuel and food. All of this is an example of collective punishment, and a crime, a systematic war against humanity.
Abdullahian said that the continuation of this situation will make matters more complicated. He pointed out that it is natural that the responsibility falls on the Zionist entity and its supporters.
In her turn, Spoliaric-Eger expressed her support for Abdullahian’s proposal regarding the humanitarian conditions in Gaza as catastrophic. She called for enabling the International Red Cross to maintain its neutral and humanitarian role and perform its full duties.
