Syrian Clans: Those Cooperating with Terrorists Have No Right to Represent the Syrians at Geneva II Conference

 DAMASCUS, (ST)-“Those who shed the blood of the Syrians and cooperated with the armed terrorist groups have no right to represent the Syrian people at the Geneva II conference, Syrian clans have stressed.

A statement made by the Syrian Clans Gathering during a press conference on Tuesday said that “Nobody represents us except the Syrians staying in the country and those staying abroad don’t have the right to talk on behalf of the Syrian clans or the Syrians in general.”

 The statement added that the Syrian tribes give the delegation, formed by the Syrian government to take part in the conference, the right and authority to represent them.

It urged honest mass media and international commissions and organizations to know the reality of what is going on in Syria because of the horrible acts of the terrorists.

“Only the Syrians can find a way to solve to the crisis without any foreign interference,” the statement stressed.

The Clans affirmed their loyalty to the Syrian state and their cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army in the confrontation of the global conspiracy hatched against their homeland.

During the press conference, the clans gathering displayed a package of photos depicting the crimes of the armed terrorist groups against the Syrian people and against the country’s infrastructure, mosques, churches, factories, hospitals and government institutions.

The photos focused on the armed groups’ acts of stealing the Syrian oil and smuggling it to Turkey in addition the acts of looting and vandalism against the Syrian antiquities and museums.
