Volodin: American planes off the shores of Palestine seek to ignite a new war

Moscow (ST): Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin confirmed that the American aircraft carriers, which headed to the eastern Mediterranean off the shores of Palestine, do not aim to ensure peace in the region, but rather to ignite another war that only serves Washington’s interests.

The RT website quoted Volodin as saying on his Telegram channel today: “Washington is the main beneficiary of armed conflicts, as the share prices of the largest American arms companies rose after the sharp escalation in Palestine, and this is what trading data on the stock exchange indicates, stressing that Washington always uses the tragedies of millions of people to advance its economic interests.”

The Russian politician stated that the United States’ domestic product doubled as a result of World War I, and Washington used World War II to increase its economic capabilities as well, adding: “Many decades have passed, but American methods have not changed. This is what we witnessed in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria. This is what we are witnessing in Ukraine today, where Washington is provoking armed conflicts in order to enrich itself.”
