Iran calls for a serious response by Islamic countries to confront Israeli crimes against the Gaza Strip

Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian called for work to coordinate a serious response by Islamic countries to support the Palestinian people in the face of the crimes of the Israeli entity.
The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Abdullahian as saying during a phone call with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah: “The governments of Islamic countries must work quickly to break the siege on the Gaza Strip and end the ongoing war crimes through serious and coordinated reactions,” stressing the need for Islamic countries to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and send food aid to the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
Abdullahian pointed out the need to hold a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as soon as possible, to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, declaring Iran’s readiness to host this meeting.
