Syria participates in the 22nd meeting of secretaries of the Arab National Committees for Education, Culture and Science

Syria participated in the twenty-second meeting of the secretaries of the Arab National Committees for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), represented by the Secretary-General of the Syrian National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, Dr. Nidal Hassan.

During the working sessions of the meeting held in Cairo on the 7th and 8th of this October, the ALECSO Networks Award for best practices in the field of sustainable development for the current year was approved, as well as the ALECSO Convoys Project for community service and future initiatives to empower one million Arab girls towards leadership , excellence, use artificial intelligence in education, anticipate emerging technology and finally enhance the digital skills of Arab children, and the “ALECSO” Forum for Business and Partnerships.

The sessions also discussed the organization’s budget projects and activities for the 2025-2026 financial cycle, discussed workshops with the committees emanating from the Executive Council, followed up on the recommendations of the twenty-first meeting, showed promotional films for the Arab national committees participating in the competition, announced the results, and handed over the prizes.
