Al-Sudani: Iraq’s position is firm towards the Palestinian issue and the struggle of the Palestinian people

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani, today renewed his country’s firm position on the Palestinian issue and the struggle of the Palestinian people.

Al -Sudani said: “This uprising is a natural result due to the large size of the injustice practiced against the Palestinian people throughout the past period, due to the continued Israeli violations and abuses of Al -Aqsa Mosque and the policy of settlement and crimes committed against the Palestinians, amid the silence of the the international community.”

Al -Sudani indicated that the Palestinian people lost confidence in the international order regarding their rights, and found no way other than resistance.

Two days ago, the Iraqi government confirmed that Iraq’s position is firm as a people and a government towards the Palestinian issue and that it stands by the Palestinian people in achieving their aspirations and obtaining all their legitimate rights.
