9875 tons of cotton crop harvested in Hasakah

Hasakah – Farmers in Hasakah province have so far harvested 9875 tons of  cotton crop in an area of 3465 hectares.

The head of the Plant Production Department in the Directorate of Agriculture Jalal Bilal pointed out in a statement to SANA that the farmers of Al-Hasakah Governorate will continue to harvest the cotton crop grown in various areas of agricultural stability, which began at the end of last month and will last until the end of this month.

It is noteworthy that the area cultivated with cotton for the current season amounted to 6,135 hectares, distributed over various areas of agricultural stability, with an estimated production of 21,472 tons.
