DPRK condemns the terrorist attack on the Military Academy in Homs 

Pyongyang (ST) – The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of the cadets of the Military Academy in Homs.

The DPRK Foreign Ministry’ spokesman stated: “We strongly condemn the recent terrorist attack on the Military Academy in Syria as a blatant violation of the Syrians’ desire to maintain national sovereignty and a peaceful life. We express our deep sympathy to the victims and their grieving families.”

“This action was motivated by the evil intentions of hostile forces inside and outside Syria, which seek to create a state of chaos in the country, and thus place obstacles to the Syrian government’s efforts to resolve the crisis and rebuild the country”, he added.

The spokesman affirmed his country’s firm stance against all types of terrorism and their support and solidarity with the Syrian government and people who are courageously struggling against the challenges and threats posed by hostile forces.
