The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Latin America affirms its solidarity with the Palestinian people

Havana (ST): The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Latin America (ALBA) affirmed their solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation’s attacks and violations of international law.

A statement issued by the organization and published on its page on the (X) platform stated that the member states of the coalition (Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) express their deep regret over the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip which threatens international peace, and violates international law and the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter.

The coalition expressed its solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding compliance with UN resolutions regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and finding a permanent solution to the Palestinian issue on the basis of the provisions of international law.
